Happy Thursday,
I was reading an article sent to me by “ea Endodontic Associates” published in their newsletter called “The Better Root” in Spring 2016, which I found to be very informing. I would like to share parts of this article with you:
“Researchers at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry have identified a correlation of a bacterial species responsible for gum disease with histologic samples of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma…
These data, if confirmed, indicate that eradication of a common oral pathogen may contribute to a reduction in the significant number of people suffering with esophageal carcinoma.”
Here, now we have more reasons to take care of our teeth and gum.
I hope this helps.
To be continued….
